Did you know that water-usage charges can be passed onto tenants? (Water access charges cannot be passed onto tenants).

If you are passing on water usage charges to your tenants, it is a requirement that the property be water-wise compliant. Tenants will have a right to ensure that the water fixtures are efficient and if they are paying for water use, they will have an incentive to be water-wise in, and around the house.
